About The Position
The Bowling Green Holiday Inn is seeking a part-time Weekend Security Guard to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and property. This role involves patrolling the hotel, enforcing policies, responding to emergencies, monitoring access, and documenting activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in loss prevention or security, a high school diploma, relevant certifications, and a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- 2+ years of loss prevention or security experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR, First Aid, and TIPS certifications
- Physical mobility and strength
- Professional and approachable demeanor
Responsibilities
- Patrol the hotel to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and property around the clock.
- Enforce hotel policies with a courteous but firm approach—professionalism is key.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and security requests, staying calm under pressure.
- Monitor entrances, package deliveries, and personnel access to keep things secure.
- Write clear, detailed reports of your activities each shift to keep the team informed.
