About The Position
As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in San Jose, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. In this unarmed driving role, you will conduct routine patrols at assigned locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The role requires a valid driver’s license and emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is full-time and pays $23.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and respond professionally to security-related concerns.
