About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to safeguard clients, including at a data center, and provide security and customer service. The role involves following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The starting wage is $23.55 per hour. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience, or a bachelor's degree, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
