Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, CGL offers customized services to meet the evolving security needs of private and public sector clients, including uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement, and identification services. This posting is for an existing vacancy for a Commissionaire to join their growing team. The role requires a commitment to serving clients and employees to enhance the organization's success.

Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
Full G License (Must be in good standing)
Able to obtain a Reliability (Level I) Security Clearance- minimum 5 Years of Residency in Canada
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a courteous, patient and polite attitude towards visitors and clients
Ability to make quick, sound decisions in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform in stressful situations
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
Must be able to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion
Highly reliable
Work well under pressure
Able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask
Professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times

Responsibilities

Maintain positive, professional working relationships with clients, visitors and others
Conduct extensive foot and vehicle patrols
Ensure that all vehicles have a permit.
Monitor the Parking Lot
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with post orders
Other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager and Supervisor
