Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, data-sensitive areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report access control issues, suspicious behavior, and other security-related matters.
• Support daily operations by completing routine logs, incident reports, and shift communications, while remaining prepared to assist with site-specific procedures during escalations and/or emergencies.
