Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
  • Possess customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related protocols for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor and employee access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate front desk records, issue visitor credentials, answer incoming questions, and report unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location policies.
