As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Weekdays in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location as an unarmed officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to help support an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
