Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, visitors, and contractors, following post orders and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Support site operations by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of utility-related hazards and restricted areas, and reporting damaged equipment, open gates, and/or other conditions that may require attention.
