About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Associate in Whippany, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, employee entry procedures, and/or delivery coordination in accordance with location protocols and security-related requirements.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with staff and visitors, maintaining professional presence, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned security-related duties.
