About The Position

As a Security Guard TWIC Patrol Driver Incident Response in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government port location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support security-related operations while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government port location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned port facilities, grounds, waterfront-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas; verify credentials and access authorization in accordance with established site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
