As a Security Guard - Retail Mall in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe security-related conditions, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, provide clear updates during shift changes, and assist with tenant and visitor inquiries in a professional manner.
