As a Security Guard - Reception Desk, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, assisting visitors, managing access, and helping to support security-related protocols through strong communication and professional presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols within a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and entry points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in activities, and reporting unusual or suspicious activity to site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and document daily activities, incidents, and other security-related concerns in required logs and reports.
