About The Position

As a Security Guard Patrol Rover in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and reporting irregular activity related to packages, vehicles, and/or facility operations.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing shipping and receiving areas, noting damaged property or suspicious behavior, and completing required incident and activity reports.
