As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Clearwater Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this welcoming, fast-paced setting, you will support guests and staff through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a caring, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with hotel or resort personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, amenities, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
  • Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol activity, and/or guest interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
