As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will patrol assigned areas, complete routine inspections, and support access activity while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. In a fast-moving environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents through visibility, communication, teamwork, and integrity while providing a caring and reliable presence.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies and transportation-related procedures.
  • Support crowd management, assist with directional guidance, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
