Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones for unusual activity, access concerns, and/or customer service needs while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting potential theft, disorderly conduct, and/or trespassing concerns, and following post orders for incident handling.
