About The Position

As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying approved access, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and following site protocols for visitors and deliveries.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with personnel, noting maintenance and/or hazard-related concerns, and assisting with orderly responses to policy violations or unusual activity.
