As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Our Residential Security Officer role offers an active, customer-focused opportunity to patrol a community location, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and access points with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. At Allied Universal, you will bring teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while delivering reliable, innovative service.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor community conditions and report issues such as suspicious behavior, unsecured doors or gates, lighting concerns, property damage, and/or rule violations according to site procedures.
  • Support residential property operations by assisting with visitor inquiries, observing contractor and/or delivery activity, and helping to maintain awareness of community policies and post instructions.
