Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication while bringing our agile, reliable, and innovative values to every shift through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document security-related events, policy violations, and/or property issues in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards.
• Support daily operations at the location by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
