About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Guard in Boonton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed, completing reports, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
