Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post instructions, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor customer and team member traffic, observe for policy violations, and/or report suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support retail location operations by helping with access control, monitoring deliveries and/or vendor activity, and maintaining a visible presence to assist with order and customer service needs.
