Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities throughout the site. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading and unloading areas, parking lots, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verifying credentials and/or access requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Observe trailer yards, dock doors, inventory storage areas, and high-traffic shipping and receiving zones for security-related concerns, and communicate issues in a timely manner.
