Firearmed Security Guard Officer
About The Position
The Security Guard Officer is responsible for securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. This role involves preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers. The officer will identify risks and notify appropriate management or emergency services. A key duty is completing detailed reports of observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, and maintaining a written log of all daily activities per shift.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old or minimum age required by the State
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Positive and confident professional image
- Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position
- Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Must be drug free
