As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and requests for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and deliver customer-focused service with integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.85 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, equipment areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by checking identification, verifying authorization, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and report maintenance concerns and/or hazards observed during patrols through the appropriate channels.
