About The Position

As a Security Guard Hospital Access Monitoring in Travelers Rest, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.
