As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You may assist with sensitive hospital operations, including morgue access and response to individuals requiring restraint. Requirements

Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
Must be able to work in/around a hospital morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific requirements.
