As a Security Guard Lobby Access in Monroe, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener at a financial institution, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by monitoring access, screening visitors and items, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and support a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-screening protocols.
• Screen individuals and their belongings using designated screening equipment and procedures, helping to identify prohibited items and unauthorized access attempts.
• Verify identification, credentials, and visitor authorizations; maintain accurate visitor and screening-related documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to screening alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the business perimeter, as directed by site procedures; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
