Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925. CGL prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well-being of Canadians, primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, CGL offers customized services to meet the evolving security needs of private and public sector clients, including uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement, and identification services. This posting is for an existing vacancy for a Commissionaire to join the growing team. The role requires a commitment to serving client and employee needs to enhance organizational success.

Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma
MUST Ontario Security Guard License
MUST Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
MUST Have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history)
Security Clearance Requirement: Reliable upgradeable to Secret
Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently)
Excellent customer service and reception skills
The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential
Highly reliable
Work well under pressure
Able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask
Professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak French is consider an asset

Responsibilities

Creating reservations and packaging for initial PAT platoon and BTL/ATL and other reservations at multiple R&QSS properties
Check-in/Check-out members
Answer the phone call for booking, price and others inquiries related to the Rations & Quarters
Make payment for member lost key, card or their quarters
Send email to member or school to confirm reservation or inquiries
Other duties as may be required by the client or site supervisor
