About The Position

As a Security Guard Front Desk Arrival Coordinator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, and/or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or guests at the front desk of a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
  • Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals according to site requirements.
  • Monitor access points, reception-area activity, and available security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
