About The Position
The Security Guard / Public Safety Ambassadors protect and guard University property (both clinical and nonclinical); maintain order among the public and the UCSF community; monitor and control entry to restricted areas; inspect areas to prevent fires, accidents, and other hazards; direct visitors and answer questions concerning building and/or exhibit layouts.
Requirements
- Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to carry and lift 21-30 pounds
- Ability to run short distances
Responsibilities
- Protect and guard University property (both clinical and nonclinical)
- Maintain order among the public and the UCSF community

Benefits
