As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support Allied Universal and site staff with visitor assistance, directional guidance, and routine reporting tasks while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
