Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related processes, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and video systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch personnel to incidents, maintenance issues, and other location needs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering relevant details and relaying information to site leadership, first responders, and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs, reports, and communication records related to deliveries, visitor activity, equipment concerns, and other security-related events within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, support site policies, and report hazards, damaged equipment, and/or access control concerns.
