As a Security Guard Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized persons to appropriate site contacts.
Maintain required reports and documentation for patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
