As a Security Guard Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government correctional setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to supervisors and designated site contacts.
