About The Position

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and/or individuals in custody by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and following applicable post orders and laws.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately; promptly communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated personnel.
