About The Position

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver / Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post, helping to monitor assigned areas through routine vehicle and foot patrols. You will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support public-facing interactions with professionalism, and bring strong communication, integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and help support order through visible presence and consistent application of post instructions.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activities, and notable conditions, and assist with security-related response efforts during alarms, emergencies, and/or special situations.
