Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed, driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience are required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, verifying credentials when required and assisting with security-related screening and/or access control procedures.
Work closely with site personnel and public sector representatives during routine operations, special events, and/or emergency situations while maintaining professional presence and readiness.
