Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol professional in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and interact with the public and staff with professionalism. In this role, you will bring a caring, agile, and reliable approach while supporting daily operations through teamwork, communication, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Support government facility operations by maintaining a professional presence, following all armed post directives, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation accurately and on time.
