As a Patrol Armed Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants must provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associate's Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain logs of daily activities as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or critical events.
Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential threats or hazards within the government facility.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications for armed patrol duties.
