As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffing certification is preferred.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activity according to site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents.
Operate communication devices to stay informed of site conditions and coordinate with Allied Universal management and team members.
Follow all client and Allied Universal procedures for armed patrol assignments, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.
