As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, supporting a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and controlling access as required by site protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and direction as needed.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and/or emergency services during incidents as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
