As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed patrol personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a sense of security-related presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious persons or activities to the appropriate authorities.
Follow all protocols for armed security-related posts, including maintaining proper handling and control of assigned equipment.
Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activities, incidents, and observations in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed by site-specific policies.
