About The Position

As a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Stone Mountain, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, assist with badge-related activities, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and help control entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate access-control records, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
