About The Position

As a Security Guard Patrol Access Control in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas of a commercial real estate property; observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including building exteriors, amenity areas, garages, and surrounding grounds, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
