As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Possess customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, parking areas, access points, production-related areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activity.
  • Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations to appropriate site personnel or Allied Universal leadership.
