About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access control and badge processes, and support responses to security-related concerns. A visible presence and customer-focused communication help deter incidents while delivering a welcoming experience.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications, and accurately document incidents, requests, and relevant details in dispatch logs and reporting systems.
Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources in response to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, maintaining calm, professional communication.
Coordinate with onsite teams, building operations, and emergency responders as directed; provide timely updates and support incident escalation procedures.
Monitor access control, camera, and alarm-related systems as assigned; report unusual activity and help support a secure environment.
