About The Position

SMI is seeking a professional, customer service-oriented Concierge Security Officer for a full-time swing shift position at The Metropolitan, a luxury high-rise condominium in Brickell, Miami. The role is an opportunity to join a growing organization, build a long-term career, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and vendors. The schedule is in the afternoon and evening and may vary. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Basic computer skills, including use of email, logs, and visitor systems.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Active Florida Class D Security License (preferred or required).

Prior experience in concierge, front desk, or security roles.
Active Florida Class D Security License.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Monitor building access and ensure only authorized individuals enter the property.
Manage visitor check-in and check-out procedures.
Answer phones, handle inquiries, and assist residents as needed.
Maintain a professional lobby presence.
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs.
Coordinate with property management and staff when necessary.
Respond to and report security or safety concerns.
