About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Spanish Speaking Patrol for an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Dallas, Texas. The role offers a fixed weekly shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow an employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $18.50 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, verifying authorization, and documenting security activity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to applicable state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility, production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery personnel authorization according to site requirements.
• Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports.
