About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access System Monitor in Fort Worth, Texas, for a logistics and distribution location. The position provides customer service and performs site-specific access control, monitoring, patrol, and emergency-response activities. The assigned weekly anchor shift is Wednesday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform and may build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Assist with vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian entry and exit at gates, docks, and other designated access areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations to site contacts and appropriate responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
