About The Position

Securitas is seeking a Part-Time Security Event Officer for TD Garden in Boston. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests attending various events, including sports games, concerts, and more. The officer will be responsible for crowd control, monitoring entrances and exits, and assisting with emergency situations. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Able to pass a criminal background check & drug screening
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Security knowledge or customer service related skills (1 year)

Responsibilities

• Crowd control to ensure patrons are following appropriate policies
• Maintain a positive environment for all guests
• Assist Boston Police Department in emergency situations at the event
• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry
• Check bags to ensure weapons or unauthorized paraphernalia don’t enter venue
• Attend training and Event Staff meetings as required
• Conduct periodic patrols as assigned
• Carry out other job functions / duties as assigned
